By Land from the nearest Airports:
The Bokeelia Tarpon Inn can be reached from the Southwest Florida International (RSW) Airport in Fort Myers, a one hour drive; the Sarasota Airport (SRQ) a one and a half hour drive or the Tampa Airport (TPA), a two and a half hour drive. 
From the Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW):
Leave the airport and follow the signs to I-75. Take I-75 north to the first exit (Colonial Blvd). Take a left at this exit (west) and follow Colonial Blvd over the Caloosahatchee River, a $2.00 bridge toll. This puts you on Veterans Parkway, after about six miles you come to SW Pine Island Road. turn left (west)onto Pine Island Road. Travel seven and a half miles, through the Fishing/Art Village of Matlacha, cross the drawbridge over Matlacha Pass, and continue on to the first stop sign. Turn right onto Stringfellow (north) and continue for another seven miles. The road will turn 90° to the west (left) and we are about three tenths of a mile down on the left.
From the Sarasota (SRQ) and
Tampa Airports (TPA) :
Leave the airport and follow the signs to I-75. Take I-75 south to Punta Gorda and the Jones Loop Road exit # 161. Take a right off I-75 (southwest) and travel about one and a half miles to Route 41. Cross Route 41 and you will be on Burnt Store Road. Follow Burnt Store Road for about 18 miles to SW Pine Island Road. Turn right (west). Travel about five miles on Pine Island Road, through the Fishing/Art Village of Matlacha, cross the drawbridge over Matlacha Pass, and continue on to the first stop sign
. Turn right onto Stringfellow (north) and continue for another seven miles. The road will turn 90° to the west (left) and we are about three tenths of a mile down on the left.
BY SEA
Head due East from Boca Grande Pass. At Marker #11 (off the North tip of Bocilla Island), bear SE 210 degrees. At Marker #8, the marked channel into Jug Creek will appear to port. Follow the channel to signs for Sea Gull Bay basin. Dock at the slips identified as Bokeelia Tarpon Inn across from Charlotte Harbor.
